French Heritage Society Ball with Lanvin, Paris

Revel Rouge had the honor of producing the French Heritage Society’s Art Deco Ball in partnership with Lanvin Paris, an unforgettable evening set within one of New York’s most storied venues. Hosted at the Metropolitan Club on the Upper East Side, the gala unfolded inside a series of gilded rooms that felt more akin to the Palace of Versailles than a private club.
From the moment guests entered, the atmosphere shifted. Ball gowns swept across marble floors, tuxedos were perfectly tailored, and conversation echoed beneath museum-like ceilings. The stately red-velvet staircase, cascading from the balcony, framed a breathtaking custom drape meticulously fabricated with a French Heritage Society crest. It was truly the centerpiece of the spatial redesign. Its scale and precision pulled the eye upward, grounding the event in a sense of ceremony and craftsmanship. Quite simply, it was magnificent.

The night began with a beautifully composed cocktail hour, accompanied by a soft pianist, before guests moved into the ballroom for a refined three-course dinner featuring Smoked Salmon, Braised Short Rib Agrodolce, and a Mixed Berry Tart. Presentations throughout the evening inspired confidence in a shared commitment to preservation, excellence, and cultural legacy.

On the production side, our team created the full visual presentation for the award ceremony, as well as directed the pacing. Siddhartha Shukla, Lanvin’s Deputy CEO, spoke to the house’s evolving vision and the importance of its American presence. Lanvin’s Artistic Director, Peter Copping, was presented with a distinguished award recognizing the creative excellence that defines his work.
Revel Rouge supported the auction that followed, offering once in a lifetime experiences, from private design house moments to exclusive stays in French suites paired with fine dining in Paris.

While the Metropolitan Club is already architecturally remarkable, every design choice needed to honor both the French Heritage Society and the world of Lanvin. To achieve this, we subtly reimagined key areas of the venue to create a cohesive flow. One of the most transformative decisions was concealing the fireplace with an elegant greenery and candle installation, while positioning a custom step-and-repeat in front. It was an approach that felt both organic to the room and on brand.
Staying true to Lanvin’s iconic aesthetic meant embracing a palette and silhouette that communicated luxury without overwhelming the space. Posy’s Flowers brought a refined touch, allowing the arrangements to accent the evening perfectly. We curated refined, architectural arrangements that felt like a natural extension of the Metropolitan Club’s timeless style.

After dinner, the celebration continued with live music and a lively bar scene, punctuated by a pair of sketch artists creating chic, couture-inspired portraits for guests. Printed onsite, the sketches became elevated keepsakes that captured the spirit of the night. Live poets typed bespoke prose on vintage typewriters, an interactive moment that gifted each guest a personalized memento of the evening. As guests departed, each was given a Lanvin gift bag filled with a signature scarf, a tin of French spices, and a note, a refined final touch.

It was an evening that felt transported from the golden age of fashion. This caliber of event showcases the full range of what Revel Rouge can deliver at the highest tier. It was decadent, purposeful, and beautifully executed. It was gratifying for our team to craft an evening where past and present met with intention, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for the French Heritage Society, Lanvin, and Revel Rouge.
Merci pour cette soirée magnifique.
