BLOG 54: From Stethoscope to Skyline: An Evening with ESSE Care and Revel Rouge

Last Thursday, high above the hum of Manhattan, the sky terrace at the Shafer Clinic 5th Avenue became something rare. It became a space where some of New York’s most accomplished healthcare providers stepped away from operating rooms, offices, and research labs to connect, not in conference halls or panel discussions, but in the warm light of a summer evening. It was the inaugural ESSE Care Summer Soirée, and we, Revel Rouge, curated it with intention, beauty, and purpose.

Hosted by Dr. Karli Provost Goldstein, DO, FACOG, founder and CEO of ESSE Care & Wellness, the soirée dissolved the traditional silos of medicine and sparked innovation through conversation; surgeons exchanged stories with fertility specialists, nutritionists compared insights with Eastern medicine practitioners, and physical therapists traded ideas with mental health professionals. Through careful curation, we designed the terrace to encourage those moments seamlessly, drawing on the same approach we’ve brought to The Plaza or Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

The details carried the night. Lush summer florals by POSY Floral Design spilled across the terrace, framing panoramic views of the Empire State and Chrylser Buildings. Seasonal cocktails caught the last glints of sunlight, while Marcey Brownstein Catering’s artful bites acted as conversation starters in their own right. DJ Cat Ouellette set the tone with music that energized without overwhelming, letting the buzz of dialogue remain the heartbeat of the evening. Every light, every floral placement, and every small flourish was chosen to make guests feel both at ease and inspired.

“This evening was New York’s brightest healthcare providers gathered in one space,” said Dr. Goldstein. “It’s a privilege to unite so many disciplines to connect, share, and envision a future of care that is truly integrated.”

Dr. Leigh Rosen, a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon at ESSE Care, added: “The conversations were inspiring and reminded us how powerful it is when brilliant minds from different fields come together with a shared mission—putting patients first.”

By the time the guests began trickling down from the rooftop, the city lights had replaced the setting sun, but the conversations continued. Some lingered while others were set to carry on in clinics, hospitals, and studios across the city. The ESSE Care Summer Soirée was proof that when you create an environment of beauty, intention, and openness, connection is inevitable. For Revel Rouge, the measure of a night’s success is in its resonance. And this one, with its skyline views, quiet elegance, and purposeful energy, will echo far beyond the terrace.
