We, Revel Rouge, got to transform one of Manhattan’s most coveted dining destinations, Aqua New York, into a sophisticated dreamscape for an unforgettable 60th birthday celebration. Our goal? Taste, softness, and interpersonal intimacy on a maximal scale. Our slogan for the event was 60/60/60; a 60-foot custom-designed table for 60 distinguished guests to celebrate a 60th birthday. It was a triple dose of elegance, ingenuity, and ceremony.
Upon arrival, guests enjoyed signature cocktails at the upstairs bar, accompanied by refined, beautiful live violin. Next, attendees were guided downstairs to the 60/60/60 dining room, a world of its own. We turned a wide open restaurant space into a trés chic private room enveloped in floor-to-ceiling ivory draping designed by our friend Tina Mamkegh at Quest Events.

The warmth and luxurious feel of the space was enhanced by the impeccable floral arrangements of Posy Flowers NYC, which accented the room subtly with delicate greens and crisp whites. And the immersive atmosphere was further augmented by the flickering candlelight and custom, personalized editorial-esque menu design tailored to our client’s taste.
Towards the end of dinner, during which Aqua’s delectable cuisine practically stole the show, a surprise birthday toast, accompanied by streamers, champagne, delicious cake, and a harmonious “cheers!” catapulted the night into its new phase: pure fun and revelry. Guests were led back upstairs only to find that the cocktail bar had morphed into a classy club and lounge. The live string players were replaced by a DJ, who kicked off the afterparty with infectious energy. Gourmet late-night bites circulated as attendees enjoyed more signature cocktails from a custom 12-foot mirrored bar.
