The Art of the Perfect Gift Bag

On a warm summer evening in late July, guests gathered atop a New York City rooftop for an elegant Esse Care event. The venue was transformed into a dreamy, blush-toned oasis, with soft pastel pinks woven throughout every detail, from lush floral arrangements to signature cocktails. Guests mingled through a space full of pink flowers, floral designs on linens, and even a breathtaking flower ‘wall’ designed for the perfect photo moment. At the bar, the signature Wake Up and Smell the Roses cocktails as well as refreshing mocktails were served with finishing touches, including ice cubes with pink roses inside and pink-rimmed glasses. Guests even heard from renowned Esse Care surgeon and CEO Dr. Karli Provost Goldstein, as well as Dr. Leigh Rosen, and Dr. Amanda Chu. As always, every detail was intentionally curated to create an immersive, sophisticated, and unforgettable summer experience. 

Of course, the experience didn't end when the evening was over. One of the most memorable details was what guests took home…

Each guest left with a “gentle reminder to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and embrace a moment of intentional care,” as written on the note tucked inside their Esse Care Kit gift bags. Inside each branded pastel pink gift bag was a curated assortment of Esse Care branded items, including eye patches, face masks, face cream, and a jade roller, alongside a candle, gluten-free cookie, herbal infusion jar, and a pressed flower card featuring a thoughtful note. 

Creating the Esse Care Kit involved much more than selecting beautiful products. Every item was chosen to create a complete, feel-good experience, one that guests could bring home and enjoy long after the sun had set.   

The face mask, refreshing eye patches and nourishing face cream offered the perfect foundation for an at-home skincare reset, while the smooth jade roller added an extra touch of spa-inspired relaxation. Paired with the soft flicker of a candle and a soothing herbal infusion, these elements worked together to turn an evening at home into a magical Esse Care experience. 

The delicate pressed flower card brought a piece of the event's dreamy floral atmosphere directly into the gift bag. Inside, a little note provided a step-by-step ritual for guests to follow when using the products:

Revel Rouge worked closely with a collection of small businesses to source many of the thoughtfully selected items included in the Esse Care Kits. This collaborative approach brought an extra layer of personality and purpose to the gift bags, allowing the final collection to feel distinctive, meaningful, and far more personal than a traditional event giveaway.

Each item brought its own story, character, and charm while, of course, fitting seamlessly into the event's soft pink, floral-inspired aesthetic. The result was a gift that felt as special to receive as it was to create.
