From Brooklyn to Beverly Hills: 5 Events in 6 Extraordinary Days

As spring gave way to summer, the middle of May marked a coast-to-coast week of events for Revel Rouge. From New York City to Los Angeles, and honey-toned rooftop sunsets to heartfelt, intimate gatherings, each event was momentous in its own way. Over the week, five large-scale events came to life, each with its own distinct vision and experience.

The action began at the historic Martinique Hotel, a Beaux-Arts landmark in Midtown Manhattan. As night fell, the Star on Broadway, Oklahoma City University (OCU) Dinner began. The welcome dinner and panel discussion saw 60 people, a candlelight glow, and a tablescape inspired by southern aesthetics, incorporating country decor to tie in with school spirit. Revel Rouge's very own CEO and visionary, Hank Stampfl, was a featured speaker on the panel's fireside chat. As an alum of OCU, this marked Hank's second year planning the event, and he commented that “each year it becomes even more special.” He even received a personal letter from the university president, leading him to reflect on his journey since his days as a student and how proud he is of the remarkable growth of the company.

For Hank, the event stood as a reminder of where he started and the privilege of giving back to an institution that had a lasting impact on him. During the panel moderated by Dean Melanie Shelley, Hank reflected on how OCU played a major role in shaping who he is today. It taught him the values of community, respect, the importance of pursuing your craft with excellence, as well as pushing yourself as far as you can. He spoke about how those lessons now translate to his personal life as well as work with Revel Rouge, whether during a demanding “9-hour load-in,” or while managing a multitude of events at once. Hank ended with a fitting piece of advice: “You have to live in the uncomfortable.”

The night ended with the panel wistfully reminiscing on their years in the vibrant OCU community, but for Revel Rouge, the week was only beginning to create memories of its own…

The following day featured a double event, encompassing opposite ends of the event spectrum. Hank noted that “this level of overlap required extensive planning, preparation, and coordination across the entire team.” The day began in Brooklyn for a celebration in connection with Poly Prep High School. Around 150 people gathered together, picking from an array of colorful charcuterie boards in the flower-filled room.

Later that night, the spotlight shifted to the Shafer Clinic Rooftop in Manhattan. It was golden hour as PCA Skin celebrated the new triple exfoliation peel pads, partnering with 5W Public Relations. 60 guests, spanning editors, influencers, dermatologists, and estheticians, attended the early evening rooftop gathering. Guests arrived, grabbed a prickly pear martini, had a small bite, and began to rotate through the treatment rooms, engaging with a live demo and capturing content.

The event featured a multitude of interactive stations, including two estheticians performing hand peels at an acrylic-branded bar. Positioned with the Chrysler Building as its backdrop, the mirrored hand peel station breathtakingly reflected the New York City skyline, including the Empire State Building. Additional interactive experiences included a skin analysis station, a social content room, and a peel and correct lab, with a live demo led by Dr. Dendy Engelman, an Aesthetic Dermatology Expert. The event incorporated a wide range of activations, showcasing the many facets of experiential design and creating an engaging, immersive experience for its attendees.

After this extreme day, featuring two major events, Hank touched how “seeing everything come together successfully was a testament to the dedication, organization, and professionalism of everyone involved.”

Just when you thought it couldn't get more extravagant, the team made its way to the West Coast and iconic L’Ermitage Beverly Hills for an event with Everesse. The event was overflowing with the color blue, as a company whose identities are deeply rooted in blue, Hank stated, “blue was a non-negotiable.” From bold, vibrant tones to softer, more sophisticated shades, Everesse, and the event’s overarching theme, centered around water as a powerful force- helping to tighten skin, support lifting, and promote overall wellness for face and body. 100 or so guests made their way to the rooftop at golden hour, drinking blue cocktails, and stayed until nightfall, surrounded by sculptural florals, custom ice artistry, candles, and a DJ. It was an evening filled with innovation, education, and meaningful conversations around the future of monopolar radio frequency that was immersive from every angle.

Ultimately, the week concluded with the same energy and excitement as it began. In the Hollywood Hills, 50 guests gathered for a private birthday celebration. The party had custom lighting and decor, with string lights reflecting beautifully into the pool, and a unique cake made with real flowers.

Looking back on a whirlwind six days, the week reminded the Revel Rouge team why they love what they do. As Hank put it, “the long hours, problem-solving, and attention to detail all lead to moments where clients and guests experience something truly special.”

Five events. Six days. Countless details. One incredible team.
